I foster rabbits for the RSPCA and try to re-home them with loving families. Potential new owners must allow a home inspection before a rabbit is adopted and after so we can see that they have settled in. They must also agree to have the rabbit neuted when asked to by the RSPCA, as this forms part of the adoption agreement. There is a cost involved but this is kept to a minimum. Adoption fee is £15.00 per rabbbit/£25 a pair with both being neutered, mixeed and wormed. Castration for the males stands at £30.98 and Spay £32.31 (subject to the RSPCA nominated veterinary being used, which in this area is The Willows). Neutering of the doe's is at present free but as above they must use the vets recommended by the RSPCA. These rabbits urgently need new homes. We can be contacted at the clinic and shop on Colchester 01206 860586 or direct to Elaine on 01206 503823/07724 956832. Central re-homing for Essex is Wethersfield 01371 851201 (closed Wed.).
